Get the Most of Your Landing Pages
Keeping up on industry best practices, several NETexponent team members attended Marketing Experiments’ Webinar on Landing Page Optimization. They reinforced our knowledge of several key components that every landing page should have in order to maximize conversions, but are often times over looked.

  • Greet your customer with the same language used in your advertisement.
    • In search, this will not only continue the conversation started on the engine, but will also help raise your quality score.
    • Remember – People don’t buy from websites, they buy from people.
  • Eliminate disruptions.
    • Keep the page clean, clear, and the bulk of the information above the fold.
    • Limit navigation away from your landing page.  We love educating customers, but do so on the landing page its self.  Avoid sending customer to a page where they can’t buy the product and may possibly leave the site altogether.
  • Use a call to action that means something to your value proposition.
    • If your service will help the user earn money, test calls to action like “Earn more Money”, “Increase your Salary”, or “Start Making Money Today!”.

If you are interested in learning more about optimizing your landing pages, contact your NETexponent representative.

Search Tip
Affiliate SummitReach Your Target Audience with Google Demographic Bidding

In the past month, Google announced a beta test for demographic bidding.  The test is being run through the Google Content Network and will be available on a few selected sites.  If the test is successful it will allow advertisers to choose who sees their ad based on age and gender.   Although it is still in a testing phase, NETexponent believes this feature will be an added benefit for clients already running successful programs through Google’s Content Network and enable us to drive a more qualified customer for each of our search clients.

Affiliate Tip

Benefits of Launching a Dual Affiliate Program

Affiliate Classroom
Having an affiliate program available on multiple platforms not only has the ability to increase results up to 30%, but it also gives affiliates the option to choose their preferred technology, making your program more desireable.  NETexponent has also crafted agency agreements with both CJ and Performics, extending better technology service, faster launch time, and reduced fees to all of our clients.  Recently, NETexponent client, Encyclopedia Britannica who already has a successful program in Performics launched an additional program in CJ.

If you are interesting in taking advantage of our preferred rates, contact your NETexponent representative or if you would like more information about Encyclopedia Britannica’s affiliate program click here.

Comparison Shopping Engines Yield High Conversion Rates and Quality Customers
Did you know 60% of consumers have used a comparison shopping engine prior to making a purchase and that consumers who use comparison-shopping sites spend 25% to 30% more on the Web than those who don't?  Comparison shopping engines not only deliver higher conversion rates because their users are actively researching products, but they are also highly trafficked, maximizing advertising reach.

Did you also know that NETexponent is able to manage your listings on sites like Google Product Search, Yahoo Shopping, Shopzilla, PriceGrabber.com, and more with our Comparison Shopping Engine service? Through this service we are able to streamline the set up and maintenance processes and also have a team of experts constantly working to optimize your campaign.  If you would like more information about our Comparison Shopping Engine service please contact your NETexponent representative.
